I’ve been wanting to get myself out into the digital world and use my years of professional experience in high-tech with my creativity and my passion for cultivating happiness and positivity to share inspiration with those that find me.
In my happiness quest, I have learned to capitalize on each new day and a see it as a new opportunity, not to be wasted. And when you want something, go out and make it happen.

Inspired by Michelle Obama’s book, a positive outlook on the fact that we are never done growing, aspiring or becoming the person that we will be known for. Embrace that fact! Thrive off of the positivity of that! When it comes to you, “too late” never has to be. I LOVE the power in that!

As Shawn Achor describes in his book, The Happiness Advantage - the best book I have read in a long time, focus on the things that science has found to be the most crucial to our happiness like “pursuing meaningful life goals, scanning the world for opportunities, cultivating an optimistic and grateful mindset, and holding on to rich social relationships”.
It’s a beautiful day. Embrace it. Breathe in the air, enjoy the sun or clouds or raindrops that fall, whatever it is that makes today beautiful. Walk outside, open a window, close your eyes and breathe in. There are so many things that make this day beautiful, just slow down and take a moment to appreciate them.

Have you realized yours yet? Do you know what yours is? Each day we wake up and are graced with another 1,440 minutes to do with what we choose. Make each moment meaningful. Pursue your passion. By doing so, you will find your purpose. As Shawn Achor states, scientists define happiness as “pleasure combined with deeper feelings of meaning and purpose”. Acting on your passion, finding your purpose is living out your dreams. You have the power. You will make it happen. Follow your heart… and pursue your purpose!
Feel the breath fill your lungs and bring oxygen to your brain. Close your eyes. According to the EPA, we take up to 23,000 breaths a day. Most of us do it without thinking about it, just as we blink and swallow. But when you take the time to actually take a deep breath, to focus on it and feel it energize you, it becomes something so much more. Many call this mindful breathing. It is a common introduction into meditation. Most importantly though, is the impact just taking a few moments to close your eyes and your mind and breathe for a moment has on your energy, your mind and your well being.
So wherever you are, whatever you are doing, take a moment for yourself. Stop, close your eyes, inhale deeply. Think about that breath energizing you and the relax in your shoulders when you exhale. Then enjoy your renewed energy and enjoy your day!
